Hampton Homes is located along Elm-Eugene Street, a few blocks from downtown Greensboro.  A police neighborhood resource center features community-based police officers and resident managers, which has successfully increased safety in the Hampton Homes community. A residents’ council plans special events for the community to address resident needs. Hampton Homes has a weekly wellness center for senior citizens, which is staffed by students and faculty from the UNCG School of Nursing. 2002-03 school assignments are Jones Elementary, Jackson Middle and Grimsley High School.
