This small community is located at the corner of Florida Street and Holden Road.

On-site after-school programs (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) are provided by the Greensboro Education and Development Council. Pear Leaf has a residents’ council that plans special events for the community to address resident needs.

2002-03 school assignments are Hunter Elementary, Jamestown Middle and Smith High School.
