GHA's Executive Office directs the total operation and management of the housing authority. It is responsible for working with the Board of Commissioners to determine the overall direction and policy of the housing authority, and for ensuring the implementation of all policies and related procedures to meet the authority's goals. The Executive Office is also responsible for creating and sustaining positive community and governmental relations to support GHA in carrying out its mission. 
 

Administration includes human resources, purchasing of goods and services, management of information systems and data, accounting for program funding, and ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations. 
 

Capital Improvements handles all major new construction and modernization projects in GHA communities. In recent years, GHA has undertaken an aggressive program of comprehensive renovation of its older communities to assure their long term viability as high quality housing for future residents. 
 

Housing Services oversees management of all housing communities, including property management, leasing, rental assistance, and resident programs. Housing Services coordinates GHA Resident Councils and other community activities.
 

Maintenance ensures that apartments and community facilities are in good working condition. Maintenance also manicures and landscapes grounds for all communities.
