Operations

GHA owns and manages 2,203 units of conventional public housing in 19 communities throughout the City of Greensboro, NC. Our communities range in size from a small 11-unit community to a large 430-unit community. The Greensboro Housing Authority’s Operations Department is responsible for the daily management of all subsidized housing owned by the Authority, and all programs to increase resident social and economic capacity. The Operations Department is comprised of two divisions:

• The Asset Management division includes property management, maintenance, work orders and inspections.
• The Client Services division works with GHA residents to assess their needs and coordinate programs that encourage residents to achieve their highest level of economic and social independence.
